Basic Log Analysis Class

The East Texas Geological Society and Society of Petroleum Engineers, East Texas Section, will be sponsoring a one-day school on Basic Log Analysis. The class will cover basic log curves, how to read them and where the measurement comes from, as well as how to perform calculations of porosity and water saturation.

Instructor: Paul Hene, Independent log analyst with 39 years experience in log interpretation.

The XTO conference room is part of a four-building complex that includes XTO and Suddenlink offices.  The location is on the West side of Paluxy Dr. just north of the intersection of Paluxy and Grande Blvd. The conference room is in the building that is farthest up the hill. Parking will be available around and behind this building, but please do not use any of the covered parking, as it is reserved.

Lunch will be provided by ETGS and SPE, and there is no charge for the class. Please RSVP by emailing Paul Hene at paulhene11@gmail.com so we can have a head count for lunch.  Space is limited so RSVP early.
